Rapid Intel update process
Your GPU is set to auto in the BIOS, which should allow quick sync. However, it might not be detecting other GPUs because the system is prioritizing your own. Check if other GPUs are enabled in BIOS or try connecting them manually to see if they appear.
Does it appear in the device manager? You don’t need additional windows. Which GPU is it? There’s no real reason to use quicksync if you have an NVIDIA or AMD card, since they each have their own encoders.
Displays itself as Intel HD graphics 530 (i5-6600k). I have a dedicated GPU—a R9 290X. I’m planning to use it for OBS or XSplit Broadcaster because I don’t want the CPU handling encoding and instead let the internal GPU do it.
I don't manage it in the manual. It displays as enable, disable or auto.
The chip already includes a decoded encoder, which is solely for encoding and won’t affect performance. If it appears in Device Manager, you can utilize it.
It seems the device activates the integrated graphics when you enable sound.
