I acquired this laptop (Acer Aspire 3) without any cost and intend to use it for an MC Bedrock server setup (no mods). It will support around 15 users total, with no more than 7 online at once. Redstone and farms are planned, after installing Linux. I’m preparing to adjust the RAM settings before proceeding, as the current configuration has 4+4GB RAM at 2400MHz. Thermal performance seems adequate, CPU stays below 85%, and the BIOS restricts RAM tuning options.

It's a solid server running without any modifications, rarely seeing more than five users online at once. Most folks stop after the final match. I won't take the laptop out unless it's needed to run the server; it'll just stay hidden in a drawer. The 8GB should suffice. If required, I can replace the memory from the old dead machines I have, though it seems this setup only boots properly with these two drives.
