Random shutdowns with no error log recorded.
You're experiencing some unusual issues with your PC. It seems the problem might not be related to the GPU itself, but possibly connected to other components. Your RAM appears to be behaving oddly—specifically, Slot 4 isn't working with the original stick you had there. You've also noticed a crash with Armory Crate, and your PSU is functioning normally with no error codes. The PSU indicator shows power, but the system still restarts when flipping it. There are no errors in the Windows error log, which suggests the issue isn't directly tied to memory management. Consider checking RAM compatibility or testing with a different slot.
Tomorrow I’ll install fresh RAM. I’m pretty sure a dungeon in FFXIV at 1440P won’t require much power for OCP to activate.
I encountered comparable problems with my brand new NVME SSD, which failed completely. Also, please revise your post and provide a complete parts list.
Verify CPU condition for bent pins and confirm the most recent BIOS version.
I’d begin tracking GPU and CPU temperatures. Are you applying any performance tweaks to your CPU or GPU?
It's a stock build. It can get quite warm, but this 3080 TI FTW3 handles it well. I set the fan curve aggressively and it stays under 78°C now. The CPU is also stock. People have said AM4 isn't great for overclocking, but it manages heat and performance nicely on its own, so I didn’t change it.
