My computer often shuts down unexpectedly during gameplay and restarts itself. This tends to occur after extended periods of high usage (3-4 hours). It usually powers back on once, then restarts again even without heavy load. After rebooting, it may start up but still crashes occasionally. If it works after a restart, I’m fine for the next few hours. The hardware specs are ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 3080 OC EDITION with an Intel i7-10700k, MSI MPG Z490 graphics card, and a 750W Corsair RGB VENGANCE PRO 16GB RAM. I previously ran it with a 1060 for 4-5 months without problems before switching to the 3080. After the upgrade, performance remained stable for about three months before issues began. My thought is this might be related to the power supply, but I want to confirm there isn’t a more affordable fix before replacing the PSU.
