68-82 CFM isn't ideal. It wasn't an issue before too, since my old AMD FX processor has a 150W power draw.
I think CFM isn't a very accurate way to gauge cooling power. Fans do help with noise, but that's about it. Yes, fan capability exists. Quieter fans tend to be less noisy, though that's roughly all I can say. My reading was 68cfm, but now it reads zero because I turned off the fans. I also have a 65w chip. It could have occurred or it might not. My take is that modern CPUs reduce speed before overheating, unless you mean something else. A higher temperature coefficient means a cooler performs better at a certain fan speed and heat load. Overcooling usually helps consistently. This is what ended up working for me. I’m not aware of a method to exceed 80 cfm without water. Edited December 18, 2022 by Bombastinator
