Random shutdown occurs yet cooling continues | Kernel version 41
I've faced this problem for over a year since I got the computer. It would occasionally shut down for days, then restart. The PC would randomly power off without any BSOD or MINIDUMP. All connected devices would shut down, and the screen would be blank while fans spun, requiring me to flip the PSU switch to restart. This often occurred when launching a game. I've tried all the basic fixes from YouTube—Furmark, MemTest86, OCCT—and updated or deleted drivers with DDU. I adjusted BIOS settings, disabled fast boot, changed Windows power options, ran numerous scans, and even sent the PSU back to the manufacturer. After 45 days, I updated the BIOS and downloaded all motherboard-related software. I turned off C-states and XMP settings. When I ran OCCT tests, the CPU would shut down after about 15-20 seconds, the linpack test would stop instantly, and power tests could run for minutes before shutdown. GPU and memory tests showed no issues. My PC specs are: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, MSI MPG A750GF, 750W 80 Plus Gold, Gigabyte B550 GAMING X V2 SILICONPC Ventum VT4 TG, Fera 5 120mm, 16GB RAM (2x8GB), 3600MHz CL18, Intel Iris DMR, Blue SN570 PCIe NVMe, WD 1TB M.2, and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti X3 LHR.
