I've been dealing with this problem for a few days now. It mainly occurs in certain games, especially Assetto Corsa, Kerbal Space Program, Beamng, and Rounds. Sometimes the display flickers with strange colors and then shuts down completely without any BSOD. It stops working suddenly—either by restarting or by requiring me to switch between IGPU and GPU modes. At times it won't even reboot properly; I've had to flip the PSU on and off, or it just won't start at all.
I can't connect to the PC right now to see the exact error codes, but I recall these details:
- Event ID 14, nvddlmkm
- Various shutdown codes from the kernel
- A problem with some COM device
What I've tried so far:
- Clearing CMOS helped for a few hours before it restarted
- Restoring the system to a day or two before the issue started worked for about a half-day
- Updating GPU drivers didn't make a difference
- Disabling or removing all RGB software also had no effect
If I can get this piece of hardware to boot again, I plan to tweak TDR settings, try an older driver version, reattach the GPU, and test the RAM sticks.

The PSU performs well, I used a tester and also tested it in my old AM4 PC.
My processor has a Lian-Li ALC360 aio, and all benchmarks and stress tests never indicated overheating.
The motherboard runs the latest BIOS from MSI, it was updated recently but the issue began about 4 or 5 days ago.
I tried various settings, outdated drivers, updated them, used ddu, reinstalled old drivers, and then newer ones, but the problem still exists.
I plan to check if I can reproduce the issue through a benchmark so I can pinpoint whether it's related to RAM or the GPU.
just because a power supply functions under low load doesn't guarantee it can manage high-demand situations such as gaming. understanding the specific model is essential. DeepCool is recognized for creating subpar products, and many problems like yours stem from poorly made power supplies.
