Random restarts under varying loads
Defeated by my PC problem, I'm seeking advice on the issue. My system frequently restarts without BSOD, sometimes twice in ten minutes, during gaming or streaming, under high or low load. The Event Viewer shows a fatal hardware error: Processor Core Error. It suggests a CPU problem, but after swapping components and resetting BIOS, it still doesn't match. I've cleaned everything, applied thermal paste, updated BIOS, reset BIOS, reinstalled Windows, tested power supply, and checked SSD health. Specs include AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3060Ti, and 850W PSU. No overclocking detected.
Basics to know? It seems the RAM hasn't been checked yet, which matches the error description. I'd run a memory stress test to identify any problems—though the best tool depends on your CPU type. For most systems, Memtest86 works fine, but for newer 12/13th gen DDR5 chips, using Y-Cruncher VST or Windows-specific tools like TestMem5 can detect issues faster and more accurately.
