I don't understand if this involves software or hardware—whether it's a motherboard or power supply unit. I tested RAM with memtest86, one by one, then again with both, and everything worked fine each time. I suspect the issue is with the PSU since my 8-year-old EVGA G3 1000W unit is still new (ASRock X670E steel legend). The board came in open box, plastic packaging, unopened NVMe screws, and all accessories intact. I haven’t seen any BSODs except for a brief display loss followed by the board restarting itself. In BIOS I had Expo turned off after a sudden incident about a month ago. Even after a fresh install, random restarts persist. I haven’t cleared CMOS yet. If this is Windows-related, I’ll reinstall it. Since I’m on an open loop, I’m leaning toward software troubleshooting. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks for your help—it’s really frustrating.

Yes, I can capture a screenshot of the Event Viewer immediately following a reboot. Regarding the BIOS, please confirm if it reflects the latest version.

It's been running for a few hours now. The BIOS version is 2.10, and the 3.01 update supports 9000 CPU cores, so I didn't think extra changes were necessary. After waking up from sleep, I can install a fresh one since it will perform the same actions. This is the latest Event Viewer version.

What kind of RAM do you have, along with the other specifications? It seems like you might want to reset the CMOS—there’s a good chance it could be a RAM problem.

Checked the RAM recently. It's listed on the QVL page for my motherboard site. The other details are 4080 with a waterblock, plus two 16GB 6000MHz units. The CPU is 7800X3D and it's also in water.

I don’t understand that text. It seems to be a registry command related to device settings.

It could indicate that you must install drivers manually for the new device.

QVL doesn't hold much significance. On AM5, RAM often functions but lacks stability at its rated EXPO frequency. I experienced this myself—I need to run my 6000MT RAM at 5600 to prevent odd bugs or behavior in certain applications, and to be able to use MCR without crashes. Try lowering the RAM speed to 5600 and see if issues persist. The error logs display unrelated and harmless errors; for crashes, focus on Critical Errors.
