Hey! Yesterday my computer kept restarting unexpectedly. At first I didn’t worry much because everything seemed normal afterward. But today it kept shutting down randomly. I checked the Event Monitor but didn’t find much useful info. I added a filtered log file to the post, hoping it might help. Since I haven’t seen any blue screens, I wasn’t sure what signs to watch for. I updated the BIOS to the latest version (6202). The machine restarted and worked until the next random power cycle. I tried reseating the GPU and RAM, but nothing changed. It would turn on once, then shut off completely—now I can’t even get a proper POST. I cleared the CMOS, but it didn’t help. The motherboard LEDs were flickering between red, white, and yellow as long as it was running. Now that it doesn’t post at all, no lights are coming on.

My specs: Corsair 700W PSU (a bit old), ASUS STRIX X-470F board, AMD Ryzen 2700X with stock cooler, two 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 sticks (probably 3200MT/s), a Gigabyte GTX 1080, Samsung 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD, and other random drives. I’ve been using Windows 10.

Any clue what’s going on? I’m planning to disassemble everything tonight and see if loose cables, dirty fans, or something else caused it. If not, maybe a new PSU would fix it. Let me know your thoughts!
