Hello, do you have any insight on why a random LED on your desktop motherboard turns red when it doesn't get power? If the PC is unplugged or if the PSU switch is off, then the red LED on the top left of your ROG Strix X570-E board is flashing. If the computer is turned off but power reaches the motherboard, then it shouldn't be flashing red.

Without a label nearby, it might be a chassis intrusion function. If your setup doesn<|pad|>, this suggests your front panel wiring could be misconfigured.

It's located beneath the EATX12V power connectors on the upper left side, and it isn't marked. Also, I want to mention that I've assembled and been operating this device for two years, and this is my first encounter with it.

I recently encountered a workaround involving a B450M-HDV and 3600X while my TUF B550-PLUS was being returned for repair. The power supply has an 8-pin configuration that can be divided for 4-pin connectors, which proved useful for the B450M's design. I questioned whether the two halves were identical or if mixing them might cause issues. It seems likely that the 4-pin connector functions as an auxiliary power circuit for the motherboard, and failing to connect it properly could trigger the warning light. You may want to inspect your top-side power connectors and consider using a splitter or adapter if needed.
