Random hard freeze
Random hard freeze
In recent days, my computer has unexpectedly stopped working while performing simple tasks, such as sending a message on Discord. The mouse cursor vanishes, control+alt+delete fails, and it’s completely unresponsive even when trying to restart via the video driver shortcut. I had to perform a full shutdown manually. If this situation is related, I cleaned my system about a week ago. Looking at the Event Viewer, the only significant event was Event 41, Kernel Power, which occurred during the manual shutdown. Anyone have suggestions on what to investigate further?
Update your post with complete hardware details and operating system specifics. Mention the power supply specifications, including make, model, wattage, age, and condition (original, build, refurbished, used). Note the history of heavy use for gaming or video editing. Check the Reliability History/Monitor section.
I don't think it's a PSU problem, at least not a complete failure. It was brand new when I purchased it roughly four years ago. I plan to examine the device's model in the morning if time allows, and also check for any loose wires or similar issues. I can see.
