System details: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 ROG Strix B350-F with 8GB RAM, Crucial Ballistix XFX RX480, 8GB Windows 10 64-bit. Performance is high at around 55-60 FPS, but occasionally drops to low 20s or even single digits. MSAA is disabled and didn’t improve the situation.

The FPS typically decreases in specific areas such as when the game is running on low system resources, during intense graphics effects, or when loading large assets.

It occurs during movement or even when stationary, such as near Franklin's first house. Are any of the advanced options enabled?

It occurs both inside and outside structures. Entering Michael's home is particularly problematic. Exiting outside causes a noticeable dip, around 50 points, but it stutters and plummets sharply without any alerts. I paused the recording and pointed the camera at a wall, observing the frame rate drop and detecting screen tearing.

It seems there might be a data transfer problem. Look for heavy usage on your storage device in Task Manager (with GTA open).

It's stored on my 1TB backup drive. When I return and resume playing, I'll need to check it out.
