The system consists of an Intel Core i7-8700K processor, an NZXT Kraken X72 liquid CPU cooler, an Asus ROG MAXIMUS X FORMULA motherboard, 16GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4-3200 memory, a Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB M.2 SSD, a Samsung 860 Evo 1 TB 2.5" SSD, an Asus GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11 GB video card, a NZXT H700i case, a Corsair 750 W power supply, and Windows 10 Pro OEM. It’s equipped with NZXT Aer RGB140 fans and a Hue+ LED controller, alongside a 34" Asus ROG SWIFT PG348Q monitor.
Well found the issue: it was Windows...
I had my desktop background set to change every minute and at that interval the framedrops happened as well. Turning the slideshow off fixed it for me.
