Random failure occurs unexpectedly.
Last week I faced unexpected shutdowns; nothing like BSOD. First assumed RAM was the culprit because one DIMM wouldn't start, but replacing it didn't resolve the problem. It mostly occurs when monitors power down and shut off. I ran a full system check overnight with all screens on—no issues—but today they turned off abruptly. Immediate crash. MEMTEST86 passed, OCCT for CPU showed no faults. Likely pointing toward the motherboard or GPU. Any other suggestions? When it crashes, I need to shut down the power supply from the back to allow booting, otherwise it just displays white light and loops Windows 11 Pro ASUS B650E-F Gaming Wifi; BIOS updated to Ryzen 7900x with 2*16GB CORSAIR Vengeance DDR5; EXPO profile 1 Corsair 850W RM850E. You can inspect the event viewer for issues and consider disconnecting your GPU to test the standard operations using Igpu, to determine if it causes a crash.
That’s already been discussed enough. No crashes occurred, and the GPU worked fine in an older system with monitors toggling on and off. It might be related to the motherboard or CPU. I’m tempted to say “F” and send a return warranty for both parts.
