After an hour of consistent performance, I chose to replace my Windows setup. Installed AMD GPU and chipset drivers, along with Steam, Discord, and Battle.net. I’ll update once I’ve played DayZ or Hearthstone for a while. I’m looking out for any issues and will share more logs if needed. Thanks!
Avoid purchasing MSI items, they often cause issues. Send your GPU to RMA and obtain a replacement.
just to mention that vengeance ram and ryzen aren't ideal choices and can lead to those problems... memory tests might work, since the ram itself isn't broken, but the bios/os could be the real issue. a ram test doesn't always catch these kinds of problems. (based on my experience with two different kits for vengeance ram...) i'd start there if i were you. try trident z (rgb or none rgb), preferably b-dies (but not required) – make sure it's a kit with two sticks, which is important.
yeah none of these tests will typically show ryzen related ram errors. its a very well known issue (and im baffled no one pointed it out yet?) solution / troubleshooting is easy: buy Trident Z / Samsung B dies (whea errors are also very common for this issue btw)
It's a good idea to review the QVL list again. The RAM model you're using (Corsair CMW16GX4M2D3600C18) isn't listed, but a comparable version (CMW16GX4M2Z3600C18) is available. The distinction between M2D and M2Z might relate to whether the chipset supports dual-channel or quad-channel configurations, especially if the Z indicates a Ryzen-based setup. After reinstalling Windows, you're still encountering similar errors, even with three attempts so far—hopefully this helps clarify the issue.
Absolutely, trying won't hurt. However, I can't explain all the details, but if you're looking for help on QVL for Ryzen, getting a different RAM is the best option. You could buy it on Amazon and return it if it doesn't work—symptoms suggest compatibility problems. While custom settings might help, it's likely very challenging to make it stable.
