I'm looking at upgrading to RAM and have a quick question: which option—dual-channel 8GB at 3200MHz or dual-channel 16GB at 2400MHz—will work better for me?

You're checking if you can upgrade your system to a faster configuration while adding more memory. It seems the jump from 2x8GB at 2400Mhz to 3200Mhz would cost roughly an extra $10.

Having 16GB of RAM would equate to 32GB, so I recommend picking that choice.

You have just two DIMM slots on an AMD system, so I suggest a package of either two 8GB DDR 3200 MHz units or two 16GB DDR 3200 MHz units. If you have the budget, the 16GB option is better for future upgrades and you can always expand your RAM later.
