I bought 32GB of Corsair Vengeance 3600 RAM for my Ryzen 3700X. I'm running an ASUS Strix B450-F motherboard with the latest BIOS and chipset drivers. I upgraded from 16GB of 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance RAM without any problems before. I've researched this issue extensively and tried everything possible. The suggested solution seems to be enabling the XMP profile, but my BIOS doesn't support it. I'm struggling to troubleshoot and reached out for advice. Please let me know if you can help.
I turned it on under the assumption it matched, but the problem persisted.
You might want to consider options that won’t strain your finances. Look into financing plans or leasing instead of a full purchase.
B550 boards could offer better memory speed, making them attractive for budget buyers who might get them soon (available in about a month).
The Asus X570-P is my top choice for the 3700x at a lower price, and the B550 is expected to become available soon.
The ideal memory voltage is around 1.35, but you should aim for the highest safe value recommended by the manufacturer.
Memory is capable of managing higher voltages than a CPU, allowing up to 1.5 volts for DDR4 systems which is relatively secure.
Thanks a lot! It's working fine at 3400 with 1.4 volts, though it's not quite what I expected. I'll consider upgrading the motherboard later.
