Hi there, earlier I assembled a new gaming PC with these details: CPU – Ryzen 7 2700X, GPU – RTX 2080 OC, 8GB RAM (HyperX Predator 1x16 GB), part number KHX3200C16D4/16GX. The issue is that I attempted to overclock the RAM to 3200 MHz as the manufacturer suggested, but it didn’t work. I checked X.M.P., adjusted timings and voltage manually, but nothing helped. After saving and exiting, the PC boots fine, runs games well, and no blue screens appear. However, after a cold boot, it fails 3–4 times, then restarts without image on the fifth try, forcing me to shut it down. So far it’s stable, but I’m unsure. Could be that only one RAM module is installed instead of two? I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Edited April 20, 2020 by Friptura

Changing the RAM slot from A2 to A1 appears to have fixed the speed reset issue. Two cold boots will be confirmed shortly.

The issue remains unresolved. Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed?
