Looking into whether faster RAM with reduced CL and higher MHz helps your gameplay in Battlefield V, I want to understand if this setup really makes a difference. After testing various components, BFV stands out because its performance changes seem more pronounced compared to other games.

I didn't specify your system details yet. To give you the best advice, please share your current CPU model, RAM capacity and speed, and the graphics card you're using. Also, explain why you believe BFV will benefit from higher memory performance.

Perhaps investing in quicker RAM can be worthwhile after all. The advantages are modest and hard to measure. Better allocate your budget to other parts of the system if you're planning an upgrade.

9900K 2080Ti 16GB X2 delivers 32GB 16CL with 3200Mhz (XMP 1). I experiment with a 240hz monitor and aim to boost performance, noticing improvements in FPS averages for BF1.

The 9900k memory controller doesn't require the fastest RAM, but its latency behaves in a manner similar to examples like Cl15 3000 and Cl16 3200. You can likely adjust it by reducing latency and lowering frequency, or vice versa.

Lower CL operates by performing specific actions to achieve its goal.
