Check your motherboard manual or BIOS settings for RAM specifications. Look for the installed memory type and speed details. You can also use system tools like Task Manager or MemTest86 to verify.

Use CPU-Z to view CPU details and confirm the speed in the Memory section on the toolbar. Alternatively, launch Task Manager in Windows, navigate to the Performance tab, and inspect the bottom-right area.

CPU-Z offers comprehensive information about your RAM. Keep in mind it displays the actual clock speed, not the effective one. DDR stands for double data rate, meaning a value like 3600MHz equals 3600 megatransfers per second (MT/s), occurring twice per cycle at 1800MHz (the true speed). Manufacturers often label it as 3600MHz since it’s practically equivalent, and users tend to understand MHz more easily.
