RAM speed
You're stuck with your Corsair Vengeance RAM running at 2133 MHz despite attempts to change it. The issue might be related to BIOS settings or compatibility limits. Check if your motherboard supports higher frequencies, or consider updating the BIOS if available. If not, you may need a different RAM module that matches your system's requirements.
Enable XMP within the BIOS settings of your motherboard. This method is also referred to as XAMP for certain AMD systems or DOCP for ASUS-branded boards.
If the RAM is labeled at 2133MHz and that’s its official rate, it will operate only at that frequency no matter what XMP settings are applied. When the module has a higher rating (for example 3000MHz), enabling an XMP profile should automatically adjust it to the correct speed. If not, you can configure it manually. Always verify the specifications to ensure compatibility and performance.
It’s generally listed at 3200 MHz, but once the XMP profile is turned on it fails to boot. After swapping the slots it works, yet it still doesn’t hit the full frequency.
