I bought a RAM stick with 4GB DDR3 and the label says 1600 MHz. When I checked it in Command Prompt, it shows only 1067 MHz. Also, my Pentium G630 on an H61H2-AD motherboard can I upgrade to an i5 2400? And will there be significant performance gains? Thanks ahead.

Start with the basics. Verify your settings and turn on XMP.

It seems this part is about an ACER OEM board and possibly missing XMP support.

I attempted to access the BIOS settings, but there was no XMP option available. Would you like some alternative suggestions to improve your computer's performance without modifying hardware?
