I understand that Ryzen systems benefit more from dual-channel memory. Performance improves as memory speed increases, but which factor matters most on a Ryzen APU? For a Ryzen 3200G on a B450 board, should I choose one 16 GB stick at 2933 MHz or two 8 GB sticks at 2400 MHz? This is for a system used for light gaming and productivity. In my area you can find 3200mhz kits at lower prices or similar to most 2400mhz kits.
Just a note, the advice from @gloop was okay. Both choices seem weak. Go for an affordable kit around 3000 cl16 with more bandwidth. The frequency is decent too.

The difficulty here is that it is an older Zen+ APU. You have two conflicting requirements. The Infinity Fabric (and things tied to it) runs at ram speed, so you want that to be fast for best CPU performance. The GPU part needs all the bandwidth it can get. Dual channel 2400 a lot more than single channel 2933. So for gaming assuming you're not using a separate GPU, I'd go dual channel. For other uses, it could swing either way and you'd have to look up specific benchmarks for each use case.
