I purchased fresh RAM, yet the system still won’t start and emits a loud noise. What steps should I take to resolve this issue?

Check the existing RAM modules and identify the previous type. Determine the newer model that needs installation. Ensure each slot is correctly filled with the appropriate RAM stick.

This situation occurred with me as well. In my case, I had four RAM slots in my MOBO and used two of them (two 4GB sticks). When I purchased a 16GB kit (four 4GB sticks), my computer became stuck in a boot loop and failed to start. What helped me was rearranging the RAM slots. I exchanged the RAM from slot 1 and 3 with those in slots 2 and 4, swapping the sticks in slots 2 and 4 with those in slots 1 and 3. It resolved the issue and allowed my PC to boot. Interestingly, each RAM stick functions best in certain slots. I’ve labeled my slots so I can easily place the correct sticks. You might also try booting with just one stick at a time to check if all are working properly. Ensure they’re securely installed, as suggested by @Uptivuptiz.
