I built this system myself in April. It began just a few days later, but my RAM would reach 80-90% usage even without heavy programs running for a while. At that time, I had a 64 GB kit (16GBx4 at 6000MHz Z30). I tried it with EXPO on and off; the same problem occurred—then the system would lock up because of excessive RAM and Windows would become unresponsive when pressing buttons. Later I upgraded to the new model mentioned earlier, but the issue persisted: after a few hours it would slow down significantly or shut down entirely. I lived with that for weeks before reducing RAM speed from 6000 to 5800. Still, the high RAM usage remains even when no programs are running. I haven’t experienced any freezes, but performance is still affected. I’m seeking new tips to address this memory leak. Please check the uploaded images for more information. Thanks!
Start by identifying which process is using the most RAM. Look at the details section in Task Manager.
When the PC starts, how much memory remains available? Over time, you can review the resource section in Task Manager to identify other processes using RAM. You might try booting the system with all components disabled except Microsoft to test whether the problem continues. If it disappears, the culprit is likely a third-party application. To pinpoint the issue, you should launch each program individually and observe which one causes the memory usage to rise.
No malware detected. Initial images show inactivity after three hours, followed by minor activity when opening three Chrome tabs and then after two hours. No significant events observed. Proceeding with a test game for two hours, then closing it and leaving overnight to monitor further behavior.
first image appears after roughly two hours of playtime, then the final shot comes in overnight. still using a lot of memory, "nothing" is running smoothly. at 68% RAM, Discord is maxed out at 240MB. this shouldn’t be 22GB if you combine them all. I haven’t seen this issue with Intel xD—please assist
