Across the scene many suggest adding 3600 extra RAM for a Ryzen 5 3600. It’s only slightly pricier than 3200, under 10 euros, yet in some cases the 3600 version performs worse. The reasons for these suggestions aren’t clear, and whether it’s worth it depends on your specific needs.

When the gap isn't large, choose 3600. Previously it would have been a third of the cost. A 400MHz variation likely gives up to 5% extra speed.

you're checking similar performance metrics. where you've noticed slower speeds? 3600c16 should improve by 2-3% over 3200c16. with a system costing 1000 euros, that's a 20 euro saving. if you can buy the 3600 model for 10 euros, it seems worthwhile.

3600 in a flash. Pushes your CPU to its limit. Check the details.
