I misplaced my Windows XP installation media. My son accessed my computer and created a new account for me.

He doesn’t want to come to you and I’m not familiar with any details about it.

Windows XP doesn't function properly with 3000g. Windows 7 encounters issues but is manageable. Windows 10 offers a straightforward download from Microsoft, allowing direct burning to a DVD or USB drive. You can activate Windows 10 without a key and use it for 30 days without activation. If you previously activated Windows, the key might be linked to your motherboard, ensuring continued operation after reinstallation. You can also move Windows from an external hard drive to an SSD using cloning tools like Macrium Reflect, which has a free version available. Before proceeding, consider removing certain games or freeing up disk space so that the total usage on the hard drive is under the new SSD size. Afterward, the software will copy the hard drive contents to the SSD and you’ll simply adjust the boot order from BIOS to boot from SSD instead of the hard drive.

Begin with the simple steps, focusing on the memory. Just purchase the memory card and place it into the slot (it only fits one direction, with a notch to avoid the wrong orientation), and it will be recognized and function properly.
