I'm facing a significant challenge with this build setup. I have an ASROCK X570 phantom Gaming X + Ryzen 9 3900x + G.Skill F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC. When everything came together, it worked perfectly. I set up the XMP profile in UEFI and everything was functioning at 100%. After some research, I discovered I needed Infinity Fabric to match the RAM speed. I adjusted the Fabric settings in UEFI to align with the RAM speeds, and it resolved. After updating to UEFI version 3.2, I noticed CPU Power, SOC, and TDC disappeared. I continued using this configuration for several months. Then I upgraded my CPU voltage to 1.35 for better cooling. Initially, I managed to keep it stable in UEFI, but sometimes it would exceed the limits—often around 1.42 or even higher. Eventually, I had to power down the PC and restart it. The next day, I encountered a blue screen after about 30 seconds. I tried opening Windows twice or three times, but the issue persisted. In UEFI, RAM speed returned to default 2133MHz, and XMP remained active, yet the RAM didn't reach the correct speeds. Now I'm unsure whether to replace the RAM or explore other solutions. I'm not sure what to do next...
After three months it broke down and can't run at the speed I need anymore. It has almost the same memory setup, but I can't reach speeds above 3200 MHz without seeing blue screens. On a X570 Aorus Master it's 3800x. I think a full CMOS reset and possibly a BIOS reflash would help. I'm not sure why you changed your BIOS if it was working well. Most boards should adjust their memory clock speeds automatically by default.
F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC. 16-19-19-39 1.35v (C-die??) You should have received the Non © package, which would be B-Die 16-16-16-36 1.35v. After that, using 32GB is taxing on the memory controller... So, consider trying a 1.210v CPU SOC. (Memory controller and IF voltage increase CPU temperature.) Power down mode turned off (halts lowering memory voltage when idle). Memory voltage adjustment, possibly around 1.3750v (to initiate, but likely not necessary). This should help avoid droop. Timing settings are unclear—maybe leave them or switch to Cas 17, then disable Gear Down mode.
The situation is quite frustrating right now. I was using UEFI 3.2, but there was an update to 3.4 available online. I tried it and it didn’t fix anything—same performance. So I went back to version 3.0, which finally gave me normal readings in Ryzen Master. The RAM problems still persist... It’s clear that updating UEFI is necessary for better stability and speed, but the blue screens keep appearing even at regular speeds.
