While testing dual CHANEL, my motherboard lights up the red CPU debug indicator and it powers on, but everything else fails to connect. In contrast, single CHANEL boots normally and functions properly. This issue occurs with the MSI B450 gaming plus with up to two 8GB Corsair Vengeance LX 3600 MHz thermal right coolers paired with a Ryzen 5 3600 MSI mid case tower.

Both RAM modules function separately in the single slot. It's possible the other slot isn't working or is damaged.

Are all issues tied to a single component rather than multiple parts? If it’s one stick, the other is likely faulty. For a specific slot, either the CPU’s IMC or the motherboard may be failing. If it seems to work when only one stick is used, it probably points to a BIOS issue or incompatibility with those sticks.

I don't recall it clearly, but the Ryzen 5 3600 might struggle with 3600MHz RAM. Consider setting it to 3200 MHz to check performance.

Both options are viable.

Did you verify with your motherboard guide that you’re filling the correct slots? You should be in A1 and B1 or A2 and B2. The guide will indicate the best option.

When I begin the PC, it prompts me to install it in B2 A2, yet the CPU lights up red on the motherboard. The issue seems resolved after swapping the CPU, though there were no bent pins.

The 3600's IMC performance is generally solid, though the exact details might come from someone like @Sawa Takahashi referencing the 2600X. It can sometimes be selective about compatibility, but newer BIOS versions usually address this. If every stick functions correctly in each memory slot, the problem likely lies with the BIOS itself. Consider updating to the most recent BIOS and check if that resolves the issue.
