Hey guys! I've been having this issue for quite a while now and I'm absolutely fed up. Google searched and troubleshooted long enough I'm at the point where I'm willing to pay for a fix. MOBO: Got an ASROCK B450/M that allows up to 3200MHz CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 GPU: GeForce 1080Ti RAM: 4 x 4GB sticks T-Force VulcanZ 3000MHz (TLZGD416G3000HC16CDC01) I have tried going in the BiOS and load the automatic XMP profile, update the MOBO, format the PC, nothing worked. Please help? Thank you.

It depends on the setup—using just two sticks might limit performance, and achieving 3000 speed in any arrangement isn't guaranteed.

2600 IMC reaches a maximum of 2933mhz. Lower frequencies become available when using all four channels. For higher ranges, consider drawing from slots A1 and B1, but target around 2933mhz before going past 3000mhz. GLandHF!

Yes, you adjust the speed directly in the BIOS settings, not only by changing the XMP profile.

The 2600 memory controller serves as a Beta version for AMD Ryzen. The Gen 1 1600 functioned similarly to the Alpha stage. Once Ryzen reached the Gama stage, performance improved significantly. Infinity Fabric 1:1 Mclk eventually became the limiting factor around 4000mhz.

It's common for second-gen Ryzen to struggle with RAM speeds over 2933 MHz, particularly when using multiple sticks. Have you attempted adjusting the speed and timings manually?

That’s the issue—it won’t operate at 3000 MHz, but likely will at 2933… It’s odd since in my BIOS (MSI 350M board) the XMP profile lists only 2933 MHz, not 3000… and that worked fine with a 2200 MHz board. Either your BIOS lacks this setting or you forgot to enable it, which is what you should do.
