Ram OC issue
Ram OC issue
The xmp profile for running RAM at 3466mhz isn't functioning properly; the PC fails to boot and resets repeatedly. It operates at stock 2133mhz with auto settings reaching up to 2400mhz, but higher frequencies cause issues. I've increased the voltage to 1.35v without success, adjusted timings and voltages, yet nothing changes. Could you help me reach over 2933mhz? The BIOS is outdated, and the newest version seems incompatible with my CPU line. Also, the RAM appears to be too slow.
The specifications provided are: Ryzen 3 [email protected] 1.3v, Arock AB350 GAMING K4, Crucial Ballistix Elite 3466 mhz 1x8GB. The main problem is that the XMP profile for running RAM at 3466mhz fails; the PC only boots at 2133mhz, and even at 2400mhz it doesn’t go higher without issues. Attempts to increase voltage to 1.35v or change timings didn’t help. Someone suggested reaching 2933mhz, but the BIOS points to a newer CPU line, which may not be compatible. There’s also a side issue: the CPU cannot run at full 4GHz without resetting the CMOS and crashing immediately. It seems the RAM speed might be limiting performance. The user mentions they don’t usually overclock and are considering slight undervolting to possibly improve results.
It seems the maximum is around 3.95GHz, haven't you checked 3.95?
