Hello there,
I haven't overclocked my RAM before and I'm curious if I've done it correctly.
In short, I purchased 2666 rated RAM and R5 1600 AF without knowing how much the Ryzen would benefit from faster memory.
The RAM came with an XMP profile of 16-16-16-35 as I understood.
Using the Ryzen calculator, I got it to 3000 at 16-18-18-36 while keeping it at 1.2v.
My question is — is this safe and will it actually improve performance?
Cheers!

Actually reached 3200 at 16-18-18-36 with a 1.35 setting. Improvement, I think?
Concerning temperatures - at idle both sticks are about 40-41°C and during gaming it's around 50°C or lower. Is that safe?
Soz for double post.

under 50c is acceptable, but below 45c is preferred; consider adding additional fans to your chassis.
