It’s possible to boost your RAM while DOCP is active. On an AMD 5700X, you can still use OC settings even with DOCP enabled. For Intel chips, XMP support works similarly. Just check your motherboard documentation for exact steps.

XMP is merely a configuration file confirming your drives work with and are supported by the motherboard when activated. Changing the settings means it no longer qualifies as XMP. You can begin with XMP, then adjust parameters like frequency or timing accordingly.

The approach would involve opening the heatsink, inspecting the RAM module, researching others' overclock settings, copying relevant details, and tweaking parameters as needed.
