The motherboard in your PC part picker only recognizes 2666 MHz RAM, not 3200 MHz. To use 3200 MHz, you’ll need to replace the existing RAM with a module that supports higher speeds, or check if an overclocking solution is available for your specific chipset.

Are you asking about the maximum speed at which the IMC can operate before it becomes an overclock? Which processor is used, and how much RAM does it require?

Activate xmp just now—I don’t recall seeing it before.

OP is discussing the 'OC' aspect. For a B450 board, it was designed for the Ryzen 2000, which can handle speeds up to 2933Mhz on its own. Exceeding that requires overclocking from the motherboard (hence the 'OC' reference). With the Ryzen 3000, the default maximum is 3200Mhz. However, these details aren't crucial.

Others refer to it as xmp while some use docp. It doesn't really matter.
