Hi everyone, I currently have 16GB of RAM on my Gigabyte Aorus gaming 3 motherboard. I’m thinking about adding another 16GB, but it’s becoming a bit tricky. The new model is considered older, so buying the same amount feels pricier than getting 32GB that isn’t listed for my board. I reached out to Gigabyte and they mentioned they haven’t checked the newer options since Corsair keeps releasing more RAM. I’m comparing two sets: CMW32GX4M4D3600C18 and CMW32GX4M2C3200C16. I’m still confused about RAM timings and which one suits me better. I’d prefer the first set for higher speed plus four extra sticks, rather than having two generic ones. Thanks for your help!
It doesn't indicate functionality if it's missing from the QVL. It suggests they didn't test it. No info on your system age or why you're copying links. What processor are you running?

I understand this discussion is quite old, but I'm bringing it back for anyone who searches or visits the forum with a comparable issue. I chose the CMW32GX4M4D3600C18 RAM (first link), and it functions perfectly. Just turned on XMP in the BIOS, and everything has been smooth from the start.
