Hello, your RGB settings for RAM aren’t displaying correctly. You mentioned you can’t modify anything and iCUE isn’t picking it up. The app initially worked briefly but then displayed a triangle before becoming unresponsive. GCC and other tools also can’t locate it. What should you try next? Thanks for sharing the IMG_8184.dng file—appreciate you letting me know it’s German.

You're having trouble reading German, which could be due to how the RAM sticks are seated. Try rearranging them.

It essentially indicates it doesn’t receive data about its RAM and suggests restarting your computer so it functions properly. I’ll reinsert the RAM, thank you.

Have you already turned off your computer? If the RAM isn't seated properly and you haven't restarted it yet, try doing so.

I reordered it now and still had about two seconds to do something. My RGB values were shifting—one stayed a normal purple, the other turned into a bunch of colors, even though I tried to create a wave effect. Neither worked as expected.

It functioned properly before or is this a fresh test/upgrade? And when you say 'reseated,' you mean removing and reinserting it.

I removed everything and put them back in, they show as 32gb. This isn’t an upgrade; I installed it when I bought it and stayed with it. I don’t remember which slots worked best, but I guess the second and fourth ones were the ones I used.

It seems to be functioning now? That's odd. I attempted to reinstall it on your boot drive again. It's a hassle, sure, but it did work for my LL120 after those updates and a fresh install of the app.

this occurred when contacts became dirty or slots faced contact problems. Slots 1 and 3 aren't suitable for dual channel setups; it might be a faulty RAM slot or a defective RAM stick. Consider using single-channel sticks in each slot, then test each individually. After evaluating separately, switch to a dual channel configuration and try new RAM modules or a different board. You might also attempt to gently clean the contact areas. Check for alignment issues with the contact path and the PCB—there could be slight damage from shipping pressure that warped the board.

Thanks a lot for your assistance. Everything seems to be working now. I verified the RAM wasn’t an issue, and if the motherboard was problematic I’d have been frustrated. The lighting matched my expectations when starting the PC, but it became inconsistent once I opened iCUE—it worked then, but the app needed to stay open otherwise things would repeat. Now it’s stable, and that’s all I need. Thanks!
