RAM mixing question
RAM mixing question
I possess two sets of 32GB (two 16GB units) from Corsair. Both models share identical product codes and specifications. When inspecting the version numbers on the drives, it seems one set is from Samsung and the other from Nanya. Is it acceptable to combine them? Could this lead to any issues? This equipment is intended for a workstation, currently operating at 3200mhz CL16 (advertised performance) with XMP enabled.
The RAM could come from two distinct locations, yet I'm 98% confident it's the same core inside. (Of course, their silicon differs obviously)
