I'm sorry, but I should have been more precise. Using "better" meant stronger support and fewer issues. You should consider how soon you plan to upgrade your CPU versus how much performance drop you can tolerate now. I've been testing DDR4 2400 2x8GB on my bench just because it was available, and recently switched to 3200 2x8GB. In most tests the gap isn't significant. I believe staying at 2733 MHz on a 1600AF likely isn't a major bottleneck, and upgrading to a Zen2 or Zen3 CPU should work fine.
