RAM issues with 3950X, X750 TUF, Gskill Ripjaws
Hello! Welcome to the forum. Have you attempted using Memtest86 on the memory with DOCP turned on? Is this memory listed in your motherboard's QVL? It’s possible the board doesn’t support it or it’s faulty. I suggest enabling DOCP and running Memtest86, try without DOCP as well to confirm. If no errors appear, it’s likely a compatibility problem. If errors occur, replacing the kit would be advisable.
The issue probably stems from the memory overclocking setting. Have you experienced any blue screen errors? Operating at 2133MHz is typical for DDR4 RAM, which is fine. Be aware that most AM4 boards consider 2666MHz an overclock, so performance can differ. Even though a RAM package claims 3200MHz, stability isn't guaranteed. Consider rerunning memtest with DOCP enabled. If the results are satisfactory but problems persist, manual memory overclocking may be necessary.
