Ram issues. [Resolved]
Problem resolved: With a few adjustments, the system stabilized at 3000Mhz. I reviewed the XMP profile settings and manually configured them, ignoring the MHz specification. Everything else worked well except for memory issues during installation. I purchased some new components on Black Friday, though the setup process was tricky. The system runs smoothly with 2x8GB sticks in any slots, but crashes occur when using a 3D stick or a 4-stick configuration. I’m open to sending back the memory and testing different sticks individually or in pairs. Any advice would be appreciated! / Henrik Edited December 19, 2019 by Yrwenlol
Use two sticks, enable XMP, check the timing details and record them or take a photo. This will serve as a solid base for manually boosting 4 sticks. XMP has trouble with 4 module kits.
@Derrk might attempt it, but what timeframe are you seeking? Any details beyond 16-18-18-36, 3200 MHz, and 1.35v?
XMP offers little real benefit compared to the effort needed to implement it. The performance gains are barely perceptible to a person.
Are the RAM sticks placed in the right slots? (Slots 2 and 4). Have you experimented with different frequencies? 2800 to 3000MHz? Is this issue the same?
