Hey everyone, I'm looking to boost my RAM from 16 to 32. My current setup is a Corsair Vengeance LPX 2 x 8 overclocked at 3200 MHz, and it's working fine. When I switch to four 8GB sticks of Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, it still doesn't reach 3200. I've spent two days tweaking the BIOS settings and trying all possible combinations, but nothing changes. It caps at 2133. Why does it not overclock? Could it be related to the motherboard or CPU limitations? Doesn't it support more than two sticks of RAM? Is there anything about Corsair Vengeance that affects this? Any tips or suggestions you have? If not, what RAM capacity would be safe? Would a different 7,370X Ryzen CPU help? Are there issues with older CPU models? Thanks for your help!

Some boards may not be able to operate at their rated speed when every RAM slot is occupied. Generally, fixing this issue seems to require replacing the hardware, though I’m not an AMD specialist.

Filling every space could cause a problem. I’m hoping there’s a solution around it. Are two slots compatible with two 16GB sticks? Let me know, Bart.

I'm currently at my desk, so I can't see it. However, if you visit the site for the mobo you own, it will show you compatible RAM settings (like 4x4, 4x8 2x16, etc.). Also, double-check that your RAM is in the QVL—it matters a lot for edge cases.

Another choice is adjusting the timing and voltage settings for the RAM module, though I'm not very familiar with that process. There are many experienced users in the RAM section of this forum who might be able to assist.

The board I own is the Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming. (Not the B450-F II) Thank you.

I've adjusted the settings myself, but nothing brings it up to 3200—it stays at 2133.

Thank you for your effort with this YT link. However, I attempted the video two days ago without any results. Now you can grasp what I’ve experienced. I’ve mostly explored all the related YouTube content and adjusted the BIOS settings multiple times, but nothing seems to bring it up to 3200. Bart

The manual doesn't specify details about your RAM being in the QVL. You may need to check the device specifications or contact support for confirmation.
