RAM issues
Your system is using a 24GB RAM setup but only half of it is being utilized, which limits performance. It also has trouble identifying the exact form factor of your RAM. You've already checked the BIOS, enabled XMP, and tried configuring via msconfig without improvement. Your hardware specs include a Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, two 4GB and two 8GB RAM sticks, a Gigabyte Aorus B450M motherboard, and a 2666mhz T-FORCE Delta RGB.
I hadn’t realized it was feasible to adjust RAM capacities that way. It’s clear that changes in performance are noticeable.
It was set to 2400Mhz by default, likely the standard JEDEC value for RAM. XMP may not function properly with varying RAM capacities.
Well, it looks like one of the 8GB drives isn’t working right. I checked each RAM in dual-channel mode and everything functioned properly with the 2x4 setup. I’m hoping the warranty for the T-Force Delta is accurate so I can replace it.
