Hello, your GSKill Jaw Red CL16 (likely 3200 or 14GB) is a solid build with a 16x2 kit and an Aorus Elite B450 motherboard paired with a Ryzen 3600 CPU. You've already done a lot to fix things—updated drivers, BIOS, timings, and various settings—but the RAM sticks won’t work past 2866, and crashes occur even at 2933. It’s frustrating because your GPU is still decent, but you’re losing valuable FPS when streaming in 1440p ultra wide. The cost of a new CPU and motherboard would push your total to around €600, which is higher than what you’d expect in the current market. You’re looking for a practical solution without changing hardware.
slots: 2 and 4 with XMP enabled, voltage: 1.35, SOC voltage: 1.1
I suspect you attempted something comparable around version 1.12 for the SOC, and it likely failed after 2866 MHz. You might want to test it again with updated BIOS.
Remove the memory from your setup, examine the label on the chip and verify it matches 3200mhz. Also review the QVL section of the motherboard to confirm the memory is listed; missing entries might indicate incompatibility.
Earlier I made sure to refresh the bios, but it didn’t make a difference. That was my initial attempt.
I suggest looking into it. I recently faced a problem where my 3200mhz didn't function properly at 3200mhz, and it turned out I used the incorrect memory module.
I recall looking at it several times for timing checks. It’s 3200, and I don’t have any other RAM just old DDR2 sticks.
