I'm unsure which 16GB RAM kit to pick. I need to decide between the Corsair Vengeance LPX and G.Skill Ripjaws V. Both are budget-friendly options in Germany, offering DDR4-3200 or 3600 memory with different CAS latencies. Speed matters, but CAS latency can affect performance, especially when paired with specific CPUs like the Ryzen 3600 or 3300X. It seems the advice to prioritize speed over latency might not always apply. Consider testing both in real conditions to see which performs better for your setup. Thanks!

The price difference is minimal, so the main factors are likely lower latency and timing. The faster G.Skill model might still offer advantages despite the speed difference.

the lpz offers significantly improved timing. 3600mhz cl19 equals 3200mhz cl17. 3600mhz cl18 matches 3200mhz cl16 and continues the pattern.

Uncertain about sharing links. Search for "ram latency calculator" yields results. LPX indicates a 5% reduction in latency.
