Ram hesitating to operate in dual channel.

I recently purchased a Gigabyte Z390 gaming motherboard with my components, but it didn’t boot properly. It works when RAM is in the first and second slots, but fails if placed in the third or fourth slot alone. I’m concerned about missing out on dual-channel performance and need advice on next steps.

You need to disconnect from the forums, yet the instructions suggest placing sticks in slots 2 and 4 near the CPU for dual channel setup, not 1 and 3 in that order.

When no post has a single stick in a specific slot, consider repositioning the CPU.

I had a stick in 2 and 4, but it kept not posting. I replaced the CPU and checked the cooling setup, but the problem persisted. I also changed the CPU cooler to test if pressure was the issue.

I performed that action yesterday as well, but the issue persisted even when using my previous CPU.

I believed the issue was my old RAM failing, so I bought a new Corsair module and it kept happening. Now I’ve completely broken all my tempered glass panels.

Can you return the new RAM? And that's a big yikes for the glass panel, try and get a replacement for that
