Hey everyone, I just got a new motherboard and CPU. I'm trying to figure out if I can use 2666MHz RAM with 3200MHz RAM sticks on this setup. I was wondering if setting the BIOS to 3200MHz would work for that. Also, I used to run 2666MHz RAM at 3200MHz before, so I'm curious how it will compare.

Hi everyone, please note that RAM must have identical clock speeds for compatibility. You can usually adjust it to match if needed.

I understand you're curious about match RAM speeds, but I wasn't sure about the impact if BIOS kept the same speed. I was thinking about using the 32GB from my previous system and hoping for a quick delivery today. I'll share the results later this evening.
