I believed I purchased four 8GB RAM sticks from cheapo china, since a 16GB DDR3 setup typically requires two 8GB units. It turns out not today. I haven’t checked the box yet, so I’m unsure what arrived. Could be a mix-up—maybe they labeled it as DDR4 but it’s actually 16GB DDR3?

It features a powerful DDR3/4 RAM that works in dual modes. When activated, it also displays vibrant RGB lighting effects. Excited about the potential of these sticks!

It started up on my old Fm2 board in the HTPC, displaying 32GB of RAM. The chip labels say 7un47d9sxp mtec, but I can't find any info about them online.

I need to set up Windows on that device. The RAM isn't showing up on the wifeys ASRock A3 board. Checking memory details via dmidecode revealed SMBIOS data available. It’s DMI type 16, 23 bytes, physical memory array on the system board. No specific error correction or capacity info provided. Device count is four. Additional entries include DMI type 17 with 34 bytes and a 64-bit width. I don’t have manufacturer details or exact serial numbers. I’ll share more info once Windows is installed.
