RAM for Ryzen 5 3600?
Hey everyone. I hope everyone is staying safe. I'm checking what RAM size would be best for the Ryzen 5 3600. I've found several options at reasonable prices and I'm considering the T-Force Delta RGB 2x8 3600 RAM link you shared. Is this a suitable choice, or might it be too much? You're aiming for a $800 to $900 build, and you're considering getting the RTX 3060 if it's released. That sounds like a solid choice!
You could choose CL16 RAM, but I’m opting for a setup very close to yours—3600 and 3060—since the price difference matters.
I’d consider testing a 32GB unit. At $80 it’s quite close to a 32GB model. I previously purchased a Team Force kit for $96 a month or so. You might only need to spend $20–30 more to reach double your storage. A 16GB capacity works, but you can definitely go higher. 16GB isn’t excessive now; it’s more than enough. Edit: Some Team Force kits are available around $104. If you upgrade back to a 3200MHz standard, there are options for $90 or less.
