I understand, I performed it similarly in the image to demonstrate the issue. Both sides work fine. It seems the module just can't handle the added depth of the stick in the center.
I took the RAM from my old PC and attempted to install it on the new motherboard, but it didn’t fit. It seems the board might be defective or I’m using an incompatible RAM type. I’ll reach out to ASRock support for assistance, thanks to all the help I’ve received!
It's really surprising how this came out of nowhere! I ended up checking the forum out of curiosity, since nothing looks like it’s preventing RAM from installing properly. This is the first time I’ve experienced something like this before. I’m considering trying to fit my old RAM into the new one last and then reaching out for help if it doesn’t work.
Can you also show photo of the empty slot from top view? Not that I don't believe you I just want to see.

The mATX board has four slots, most of which are likely 4 pins. You probably need to apply more force. I attempt to shift slightly left or right while pushing. Aim for consistent pressure on the dimmer. It should fit. Perhaps someone stronger could help you Edited July 19, 2023 by leclod
